Organization Purpose
The purpose of this organization is to collectively bargain with the
Nation's major railroads in support of our common interests; providing exceptional working conditions, wages and
benefits that are all among the highest in the occupational fields of the United States . We hope to add new members
so we will be able to expand. By developing relationships and friendships, our Union will become even stronger
and better for all membership.
Our Mission
The mission of our Local focuses on two areas. For our fellow
rail workers our mission is to further promote job security, higher wages, safe working conditions and better insurance coverage.
We also encourage fellowship among railroad workers that move the Nation's freight. Our other area of focus is in
the area of public safety at railroad grade crossings and along side of railroad tracks.
We strive to make a difference by educating and making our work place and communities a much better place by keeping our members and the general public informed.
